Privacy first

Most trackers keep your cycle history in the cloud. ourRegla doesn't. Your health data is stored in a local database on your device and is never uploaded to our servers.
- Cycles, periods, symptoms and profiles are saved only on your phone.
- Our cloud only knows who you are (your sign-in), not how you feel.
- Partner sharing is encrypted on your phone; only your partner's phone can read it.

In our cloud (Firebase)
Only your sign-in account, encrypted partner stickers (ciphertext) until your partner's phone receives them, a short-lived pairing invite (user IDs and public keys) while you pair, and a push token if notifications are enabled. Invite codes and private keys stay on your phones.
Between partners
End-to-end encrypted (X25519 + AES-GCM). The relay only ever sees ciphertext — we can't read it. Your partner's phone deletes each package as soon as it arrives; anything still waiting is deleted when either of you disconnects or deletes the account.

Questions, answered
Where is my cycle data stored?
Only on your phone, in a local database inside the app. Cycle, period, symptom and profile data is never uploaded to our servers. If you uninstall the app or delete your account, that local data is removed from the device.
Why do I need an account then?
Your account (via Firebase Authentication) lets you sign in securely and lets the encrypted relay deliver stickers to the right person. It holds your email, name and sign-in credentials — not your health data.
Can you read what I share with my partner?
No. Stickers you send are end-to-end encrypted on your device (X25519 key exchange + AES-GCM). Our relay only stores the ciphertext, and only your partner's device can decrypt it. Your partner's phone deletes each relay copy as soon as it receives it; anything still waiting is deleted when either of you disconnects or deletes the account.
What if I change or lose my phone?
Because we don't keep a cloud copy of your health data, it can't be restored from our servers. Your account and partner pairing can be set up again on the new phone.
Can I use ourRegla for contraception?
No. ourRegla is not a medical device and not a contraceptive. Fertile window and ovulation predictions are estimates based on the data you enter. Always talk to a healthcare professional about contraception, fertility and health concerns.
Does my partner need to pay?
No. Partner mode — inviting a partner and sending encrypted stickers — is free for both of you. Premium only adds the Flirty rich style.
How do I cancel Premium?
Manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play or App Store account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the paid period.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. You can also email us. See Account & data deletion for details.
